Small class strength
Academic research shows that children learn better and excel in smaller groups. Hence, we at CES shall limit our classroom strength to smaller numbers and keep the activity space for each child large enough to carry out multiple interactions for learning. Low student teacher ratio speaks volumes for quality individual attention given to our students.
Laboratories
We have laboratories for Science subject. These are fully equipped with the most modern equipment to allow students to develop their skills in practical science and to learn scientific theories through their own experimentation. These laboratories come into their own in the period leading up to Board Examinations but staffs are encouraged to use them as a regular part of their lessons. Our aim is to ensure that students see subjects like Science,not just as applying a theory but as a subject where they can derive theories themselves by experimentation.
Computer Lab
The computer lab serves as the center for teaching computer use to whole classes, usually by a specialist computer teacher. Classroom teachers also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects.
Digital classroom
The Digital Classroom or the AV Room in the school’s main academic building is equipped with computer and projection systems and is used for special presentations, seminars and training sessions. The room for presentations by staff, students and visiting faculty.
Multiple intelligence is given due consideration in the regular teaching learning process at Carmel English School.
The practical, intellectual and the social skills are shaped through carefully chosen activities of classroom and beyond.
